Kara Miller, MS, RDN, CSSD, LDN

Kara is originally from Wisconsin and has lived in Nashville since 2016. She received her Masters of Nutrition Science from University of Rhode Island, completed her dietetic internship with an emphasis in wellness from Sodexo Mid-Atlantic and received her Bachelor of Science in nutrition with a certificate in business from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Additionally, Kara is a board-certified specialist in sports dietetics (CSSD).

Kara worked for seven years as a Sodexo University dietitian with an emphasis in sports nutrition and underfueling, in addition to food allergy management and digestive disorders. She has also provided medical nutrition therapy for both inpatient and outpatient settings. Kara has extensive experience working with college students, collegiate athletes, and active adults. Her extensive experience also includes individuals with diet cycling, disordered eating and managing family nutrition expectations. She is a proud member of IAEDP, International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals.

Kara’s work and life experiences have helped her to better understand how life transitions can affect nutrition habits, our relationships with our bodies, as well as the effect diet culture has on individuals and families. Her desire is to meet clients in their current life stage and help them create balanced fueling goals that are practical and achievable.

Outside of seeing clients, Kara loves spending time with her husband and two kids, attending sporting events, creating outdoor adventures, and loving others through food and baking.
